GENTLEWAVE PROCEDURE
Effectively cleaning the deepest, most complex portions of the root canal system requires incredible innovation—and we are proud to offer that technology with the GentleWave Procedure. The GentleWave Procedure is a state-of-the-art adjunctive procedure to standard root canal treatment.
The ultracleaning technology of the GentleWave Procedure is an advanced combination of fluid dynamics and a broad range of soundwaves that work together to reach into the microscopic spaces and remove bacteria, debris and tissue. The GentleWave Procedure is extremely effective at cleaning and disinfecting the root canal system.
The GentleWave Procedure uses a minimally invasive protocol to access the infected root canal system, which means it is preserving more of the natural tooth and, in doing so, is helping to keep the tooth’s structure strong. Achieving an exceptional level of clean requires advanced endodontics—and that’s something we take pride in providing. Contact us today to discover the GentleWave Difference for yourself.
Technology Cone Beam Computed Tomography (C.B.C.T.)
Our office uses Cone Beam Technology to aid and assist in the diagnostic process, confirm or refute the need for endodontic treatment, and to provide important information that supplements the treatment process. This has been an important advancement in the field of Endodontics and we are one of the few endodontic offices in the South Denver region to implement this technology. We are able to look for periapical pathology that may not otherwise be detected on a 2-dimensional radiograph. Unusual anatomy can be mapped out in 3-dimensions and detecting the presence of missed canals in previously treated endodontic cases is extremely useful.
Microscopes
At Precision Endodontics the dental operating microscope is used in every case from the simple to the complex. We have invested in Carl Zeiss microscopes with superior optics to enhance visualization. The light and magnification provided by these microscopes allow us to find and safely negotiate canals with conservative removal of tooth structure. This is far more advanced than what is possible with the use of loupes alone. We can often see remaining tissue that is left behind which may lead to endodontic failure in the future.
Other Technologies
Our ASI Delivery Systems are equipped with Ultrasonics that are extremely useful for removing posts and pulp stones as well as locating hard to find canals and conservatively removing tooth structure. Also, final cleaning of the canals always includes ultrasonic agitation of irrigating fluids for superior cleansing.
